Susan Andersen, MSW, LSW
Agency Director/ Adoption Advocate
Susan worked briefly as a child advocate with the CPS in North Carolina before moving to Nevada. She began working in adoptions in 1999, and has been an agency director for A Child’s Dream since 2003. She has done over 350 adoptions, placing children with loving adoptive families in over 20 states. As a licensed social worker she stays up to date on current adoption issues and law, by completing a minimum of 15 hours per year in adoption and ethics training. Susan loves the opportunity she has to help match pregnant girls who are not ready to parent with loving adoptive families, and to have a significant impact in bettering the lives of all concerned.She is also an adoptive mother.
Laurie Shelton BS
For the last 17 years Laurie has had the good fortune of providing a service that both ignites and satisfies her passion to help people achieve a better life. As an Adoption Specialist for attorneys and private agencies, she has supported over 500 birth parents, making a measurable difference in the lives of each member of the adoption triad. Laurie studied at Northern Arizona University where she received her degree in Psychology. She prides herself on the dedication she offers to each of her clients through this challenging time in their lives. She carries with her all the experiences that she has been lucky to share with all her clients during their individual adoption journey's through life.

Stephenne Berger BSW, LSW
Stephenne Berger has been a licensed social worker since 1997. It’s been her passion to work with children and families. She has been blessed to work with hundreds of birth parents, adoptive families and children. As a birth parent, choosing adoption can be very confusing and a hard decision to make, but Stephanne has a gift for helping to explain the process and planning of adoption that best suits the needs of those she’s helping.
Jessica Utterback BA
Jessica Utterback has 5 years experience in adoptions, and goes the extra mile for her clients to make sure that they have the most postive experience possible. Jessica understands how difficult it can be on a birth mom to place their child for adoption, and offers the very best pregnancy help she can. Jessica is bilinguial and has been a family advocate for the Spanish speaking communtiy for over 10 years and loves what she does.
